All I have to say about dealing with ADT is “read the fine print.” We were sold on a contract that was supposed to be for a year (and believe me, we wouldn’t have signed a longer one because we KNEW we were moving out of state) but come to find out the fine print on the contract locked us into three years. I wouldn’t be so steamed if they’d been up front about it, but now I’m feeling tricked. And at this point I have no way to prove that we were told differently, so we’re stuck with this contract we’re supposed to pay in full. If you have to resort to trickery to get or keep your clients, your company needs to take a look at its services.
